MANILA, Philippines — Senator JV Ejercito on Thursday lauded the signing into law of a measure that requires automobile proprietors to use a child restraint system in automobiles. President Rodrigo Duterte has signed Republic Act No. 11229, or the Child Safety in Motor Vehicles Act, which calls for the protection of youngsters and toddler passengers of land motor vehicles.
Ejercito, who pushed the degree in the Senate and became the predominant author and sponsor of the bill, said he considers the regulation as “one of the most valuable laws we’ve ever crafted.” “This is ideal news. The infant protection measure that I had pushed within the Senate is now a regulation,” Ejercito, who seeks reelection in the 2019 elections, stated in a declaration. “As a father who deeply cares for the health and well-being of our residents, particularly our children who are the future of this nation, I welcome and bear in mind this as one of the most valuable legal guidelines that we’ve ever crafted,” he delivered.
